The Fay family turned a long-standing family trade into an innovative business venture when they established the Carpentry Store in Naas, Co Kildare, in 2003.

The idea for an outlet servicing the carpentry trade and enthusiasts came about when brothers Patrick and Noel Fay took over the family business from their father Noel sr, who had built up a successful kitchen manufacturer and contracting machining business over three decades.
