The landlord at the Fallon & Byrne store that shut suddenly after Christmas is planning to object to the strike-off of several companies associated with the group over an outstanding rent claim.

The food hall and restaurant in the busy Dublin suburb of Rathmines closed on December 31, to the shock of most of its staff and its landlord.
