At a recent town hall meeting for Facebook content moderators in Dublin, one worker broke down in tears amid a discussion on how Covid-19 restrictions were affecting the workplace.

“We don’t have anybody here, we are so under pressure and every single morning I’m thinking to myself: is it worth it, working at the moment?” she said, as her voice began to crack.
