Facebook admits gaps in its efforts to stop election interference

Facebook only has fact-checking partners for 14 of the 24 EU languages in place ahead of next month’s European elections.

The company is opening a operations centre in Dublin this week as part of its efforts to root out malicious interference or misinformation during the election period. It will also work with independent groups to monitor different areas.
