Ageism is considered a growing problem in Irish workplaces –and can even be a factor from age 40 on, new research has found.

In a workplace equality survey published last week by Matrix Recruitment – a firm with offices in Dublin, Waterford, Athlone, Galway and Carlow – 67 per cent of respondents said that they believed people over 40 would face challenges changing jobs.
