Electricity provider Energia is on the hunt for renewable energy acquisitions as it considers options for the future of its Dublin power plants.

Energia, formerly known as Viridian Group, has said that the two power plants at Huntsdown in north Dublin are vital for the security of supply in the city and it is “considering its options regarding the long-term sustainability of the Huntstown plants”.
