JJ Kavanagh and Sons, the family-owned coach firm, has come through the recession intact and established a growing business in Britain

‘In the 1980s, if you had a television it was a big thing, and we’re saying a television, not a screen – a portable television. That’s what we had on the buses,” JJ Kavanagh recalled, as he explained how things have changed since he took over the family coach business with his brother Paul in the 1980s.
