Dublin wood firm is sold for €2.5m

A Dublin-based company that provides wood for decking and furniture has been sold for just over €2.5 million.

Abbey Wood, which employs 15 people in Dublin and Cork, has been snapped up by the British stock market listed firm James Latham, in its first overseas acquisition.

Abbey Wood is the official distributor of Accoya wood in Ireland, which is used in everything from decking, kitchens, worktops and other furniture.
