Dublin company in British ‘smart cities’ deal

Davra Networks, the Dublin-based technology company, has secured a major contract to deliver “smart cities” across Britain.

It will help develop technologies to measure air quality, oversee waste management and monitor water levels and flooding, helping six city councils to better manage problems.

It is partnering with Welsh technology company Pinacl Solutions to install sensors in up to six different cities in Britain over the coming years.
