Directors’ pay rises at Communicorp despite losses

Pay and pensions for directors at Communicorp, the radio group owned by Denis O’Brien, jumped by more than 20 per cent last year even as the company’s losses widened.

The directors shared a total €904,000 in pay and pensions in 2015, up from €717,000 in the previous year, newly-filed accounts show.

The company has seven directors, though the majority of these are non-executive.
