Debt advice concern as bankruptcies annulled
Several bankruptcies have been annulled, raising concerns about the quality of debt
advice on offer to struggling borrowers, according to insolvency sources.
Five bankruptcies were overturned last year, according to new figures obtained from
the Insolvency Service of Ireland (ISI). Four were annulled, and one was set aside,
according to the ISI data.
So far in 2015, no bankruptcy cases have been overturned, the ISI confirmed.
