Datalex chief calls for tighter data regulation

The chief executive of Irish travel software player Datalex has said increased regulation of companies that hold user data is necessary to “make sure companies don’t overstep the mark”.

Aidan Brogan, whose company posted a 31 per cent increase in profits last week, said that while Datalex didn’t work with granular user data, he expected ramped-up regulation of all companies that work in the area.
