Niamh O’Mahony was among a group of Cork fans who rescued their team from examinership. Now her job is to help others repeat the trick all over Europe

At the turn of the decade, all Niamh O’Mahony wanted to do was help save her football club. The Cork city native now spends her days empowering football fans across the continent, but it was an unusual route getting there. O’Mahony had multiple jobs in journalism, a stint with Amazon, and a few other gigs before moving into Supporters Direct Europe.
