Anybody on a business trip or holiday abroad who has tried to go online only to find the website blocked knows the feeling. Sky Sports, BBC i-player, music videos, news sites disappear behind a geographic electronic wall which is impenetrable. It’s called geo-blocking and it makes you mad.
