Conveyor firm set for expansion after Broadlake investment
ConveyorTek: expected to grow fivefold in the next five years

Investment fund Broadlake has bought a 30 per cent stake in ConveyorTek, a Lisburn-based company that designs, manufactures and services conveyor systems.

The multimillion-euro investment is Broadlake’s fifth involving Irish small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It previously invested in skincare brand Vita Liberata and Dee’s Wholefoods, which produces vegan, gluten, soy and GMO-free foods.

ConveyorTek founders Philip Trimble, John McCall and Martin Buchannan, will continue to manage and run the company.

Chief executive of Broadlake Pete Smyth said: “Our model of investment, combined with providing support, only works with the right people.”
