The Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) has raised competition concerns about the proposed acquisition of Newsaccess by Kantar Media.
Together the two companies are the main providers of media monitoring services to the public relations industry in Ireland.
The PRII, the professional body for Irish communications and PR practitioners, has lodged a submission with the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) requesting that it undertake a full investigation of the proposed acquisition.
