Clingen resurrects altered plans for boutique hotel in Georgian quarter
A consortium involving US businessman Brian Clingen has resurrected plans for a boutique hotel in Dublin’s Georgian quarter, despite a planning board block on its most recent attempt.
A group involving Clingen bought the Irish Lights building at 16-18 Pembroke Street in 2013. It has been lying idle since An Bord Pleanála’s inspector rejected the group’s application to turn it into a hotel.
