Clerys firm paid out €34,000 to Foley
Accounts also show D2 was being investigated in relation to Protection of Employees Act
Accounts from D2 Private, the property investment company led by Deirdre Foley, showed that the financier paid herself a salary of €34,637 in the year her business controversially bought the department store Clerys in a joint-venture with private equity fund Cheyne Capital.
The accounts show that the business made a loss of €424,135 in its financial year to the end of December 2015 but had net assets of €774,155.
