Lily O’Brien’s, the well-known chocolate company founded by Mary Ann O’Brien, has been put on the market with a price tag of up to €50 million.

IBI Corporate Finance is understood to have recently been appointed to manage the sale of the business, which is majority-owned by private equity fund Carlyle Cardinal Ireland. CCI is a joint venture between the Nasdaq-listed Carlyle Group and the Irish-owned Cardinal Capital Group.
