As chief executive of Barretstown, Dee Ahearn leads a children’s charity with a fundraising target of €4.5 million, employing up to 80 staff and working with more than 1,200 volunteers on an annual basis.

The Barretstown camp in Co Kildare provides residential programmes for more than 2,500 children and families affected by serious illnesses annually.
