C&C exit latest blow to Dublin market

The drinks group said most of its revenues, earnings and activities now came from the UK following its acquisition of distribution company Matthew Clark Bibendum last year

Dublin’s stock market is set to lose another company, withdrinks group C&C announcing on Thursday morning that it was seeking to be included in the FTSE UK Index Series.

To facilitate this, the company behind the Bulmers and Magners cider brands said it would apply for the cancellation of its listing on Euronext Dublin, the former Irish Stock Exchange, “in due course”.
