Cancer drug firm Carrick to begin ‘multi-portfolio’ clinical trials within year

Dublin-based firm aiming to fight aggressive forms of cancer has raised $95m from investors

Carrick Therapeutics, the Dublin-headquartered drug company launched last week, said it hopes to have its compounds for cancer treatments undergoing clinical trial in a year.

Co-founder Elaine Sullivan told The Sunday Business Post that the company was currently working with scientists on programmes to target three areas – using “molecular pathways” – to fight some of the most aggressive forms of cancer.
