Several hedge fund traders, including Crispin Odey the trader known as the Rottweiler, have pushed up their bets against Irish exploration firm Tullow Oil.

Odey Asset Management last week joined several prominent investment firms in boosting the size of their short trades against Tullow, according to Shorttracker.co.uk, a company that compiles short positions in listed companies.
