Buyers say UTV needs to broaden its appeal
UTV Ireland needs to to do more than change the time slot of its news programmes to boost its audience and revenues, according to media buyers.
Buyers said the four-month-old station needed to broaden its appeal, schedule more cleverly and invest in programming.
Last week, UTV Media reduced UTV Ireland’s revenue forecast for 2015 by £2.5 million (€3.5 million) due to a slow start to the year and volatility in its performance.
