Dublin-based mobile marketing firm Brandtone sought examinership protection after a payment from global consultancy Accenture stalled, it said in court documents.

The company faced a cashflow crisis and was unable to meet salary costs “due to an ongoing dispute with Accenture regarding a scheduled payment of €2 million”, the directors’ affidavit for its High Court petition said.
