Bonus ban is creating a brain drain, says AIB chief

Colin Hunt, the chief executive of AIB, has claimed the government’s bonus ban is damaging the bank’s ability to retain younger workers.

Hunt, who took over as chief executive earlier this year and is subject to a €500,000 salary cap, said the inability to offer variable pay was harming recruitment of talent.
