ICG awarded Rothwell 205,000 shares as part of a stock option scheme

Eamonn Rothwell, the low-profile chief executive of ferry operator Irish Continental Group, scooped more than €1 million of shares in the company last week.

In a stock exchange filing, ICG, which owns Irish Ferries, said it awarded Rothwell 205,000 shares as part of a stock option scheme. The shares were purchased on the open market at a price of €5.30.
