Bolt Capital in talks about major social housing play

Bolt Capital, the private real estate financing company, is considering a push into social housing, an increasingly attractive asset class for institutional investors as it is backed by long-term state-guaranteed rent rolls.

Documents obtained by The Sunday Business Post under Freedom of Information show that the firm’s management team met officials in the Housing Department to sketch out preliminary plans for the social housing programme in November.
