Fyffes snaps up Canadian mushroom firm Highline

Fyffes has bought Canadian mushroom producer Highline for €98 million, acquiring 100 per cent of the equity and refinancing its existing debt.

According to a statement issued by Fyffes last Friday, it is funding the acquisition through new and existing bank debt.
