Sale of Cork-based firm a ‘dream come true’
A Tipperary woman who started her beauty business at her kitchen table in 2012 has sold the firm to a US venture capitalist.
Tracey Ryan, who founded Bia Beauty with a €5,000 loan from her local credit union, is to stay on as managing director and master formulator of the brand, which uses only non-synthetic ingredients. The sale price has not been disclosed.
