Irish beauty entrepreneurs are going global, with a number of them announcing overseas expansion plans.

The family which holds the Irish franchise for the Polish cosmetics firm Inglot is to open stores in Britain later this year. Geraldine Swarbrigg, a retail industry veteran, and her children Jane and Peter, expect to open branches in Liverpool and Manchester within the next few months.
