Beannchor turns down the noise in £500k pub revamp

It has grown its business through opening lively, noisy bars and restaurants. But the North’s largest hospitality group is focusing on the gentle art of conversation at its most recently revamped property.

Beannchor, which is owned by the Wolsey family, has invested £500,000 in the refurbishment of the Cloth Ear, the Victorian-style bar in the five-star Merchant Hotel in Belfast.
