Bartra chief: tax reform may spook investors

The chief executive of a multibillion investment fund headed up by former Treasury Holdings supremo Richard Barrett has lashed the government for making changes to tax rules for foreign investors.

Mike Flannery, who heads up Bartra Capital, said changes introduced in the Finance Bill could spook international investors as they may be deemed to be ‘retrospective’ changes to the tax code.
