Bankers beware: Insolvency Service has sharp teeth

Almost as soon as it was established, the Insolvency Service of Ireland came in for criticism. The ISI, set up to help Ireland’s indebted masses make sense of the legacy of the boom, was working at a slow pace. It was established in March of 2013, but by the spring of the following year it had to admit that the number of agreements it was brokering between creditors and debtors was extremely low.
