Aer Lingus needed a change that was strong enough to cause a fuss but subtle enough to ensure the brand would still seem familiar to those that have developed a strong grá for it over the years

One of the best known symbols of Ireland, Aer Lingus, unveiled a new brand identity last week. Making any changes to an iconic brand is a risky business, but the airline seems to have pulled it off.
