Accenture on the rise

? Shares in consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture were up last week as the company raised its full-year revenue forecast for the second time as it reported higher-than-expected quarterly profit and revenue.

Revenue in the company’s outsourcing business rose 6 per cent in the

second quarter, while revenue on the consulting side of the business

grew 4 per cent.

The company said it expects revenue to grow between 8 per cent and 10 per cent in the year ending August.

Accenture’s net income rose to $743.2 million during the quarter ending February 28. Net revenues rose to $7.49 billion.
