It was close to 4am on Wednesday morning when an exhausted but delighted Ireland women’s team emerged from talks in Liffey Valley’s Clarion Hotel. Over the day that followed, details of their confidential agreement were leaked and showed they’d got nearly everything they’d threatened to strike for.
