About 70,000 Permanent TSB customers have received letters in recent months
Thousands of Permanent TSB mortgage customers have availed of the bank’s offer of a free property valuation in recent months in a bid to reduce their mortgage repayments.
Last year, in response to pressure on banks to lower variable rates, Permanent TSB introduced managed variable rates, which are linked to the borrower’s loan-to-value (LTV) ratio, and are lower than the bank’s standard variable rate.
