The start-ups that have grabbed our attention in recent months

Actualise was established in 2013 by psychologist Michael Keane to treat psychological disorders such as depression, anxiety and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) using NFT. NFT uses an electroencephalogram (EEG) to monitor patients’ brain activity, giving them feedback aimed at helping them to change dysfunctional behaviour. A new contract with Cognifyx will see Dublin’s Actualise Clinic become the preferred Neurofeedback Training (NFT) provider to the Singapore-based brain health start-up.
