Bank of Ireland is shifting toward eStatements

Bank of Ireland is once again pushing its customers towards a more automated approach to banking, with another policy change set to kick in this week, just weeks after it angered customers with an announcement of restrictions on cash transactions in branches.

From tomorrow, tens of thousands of Bank of Ireland current account customers will no longer receive paper bank statements. Instead the bank is shifting towards so-called ‘eStatements’.
