Avoca sells to Aramark for €60 million
New owners plan to expand to US market
The Avoca chain of luxury retail outlets and cafés has been sold to US catering group Aramark for €60 million, according to a story in the Irish Times.
Avoca’s new owners will move the brand to an international stage with plans
to expand to the US market, where Aramark is listed on the New York stock exchange.
The deal will be scrutinised by the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
