AI has been named by 50 per cent of global business leaders as one of the most important technologies for improving workforce productivity over the next five years, a new study has found.

The study of 575 business leaders across 60 countries, including Ireland, from HLB, the global accounting firm, also found that cloud (47 per cent) and renewable energy technologies (40 per cent) were considered of key importance.
