Transgender woman settles harassment case against PayPal
A transgender woman has settled her case against PayPal in Ireland, having sued the firm for failing to protect her from alleged “degrading” harassment, discrimination and a “verbal attack”.
Sarah Smith, who initiated proceedings against the payments firm in the High Court, alleged in legal filings that she was the subject of anti-transgender harassment in the company’s Dundalk office by a named individual.
