New twist in Altada sale as lower bid is accepted
A rival bid worth an estimated €1 million more appears not to have succeeded
Entrepreneur Eoin Goulding has put forward a revised lower offer for troubled tech company Altada on the back of a rival bidder being unable to conclude a deal for the firm.
The move comes after John Healy, the liquidator appointed to Altada, told the High Court today that he had no objection to it being acquired by Goulding’s Cometgaze, a bid that is also supported by the receiver Nick O’Dwyer of Grant Thornton.
