Michael Stone has resigned from two major state housing agencies after admitting he helped Paschal Donohoe, the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, with postering in the 2020 election campaign as well as in 2016.

Stone, the owner of the Designer Group engineering firm, has become the subject of significant controversy over recent days after it emerged that he helped Donohoe with postering in the 2016 election campaign.
