Jordan Mooney: Cracking good kimchi and more at Meath Street’s Korean kitchen

The newly opened restaurant Space Jaru captures the imagination with its intriguing food and drinks menus, which include delicious BBQ bowls and sool, a Korean term for alcoholic drinks

It’s a Sunday afternoon and my friend and I are sitting at a table in Space Jaru on Dublin’s Meath Street, marvelling at how busy it is. When we arrived at the door, only a couple of tables were full, but within about 20 minutes the whole place is packed. The tables are turned several times during our long, lazy lunch, showing that although Jaru is only recently open, it is already popular.
