Dalata founder Pat McCann joins investment firm Elkstone
Deal will see former hotelier invest in the company and co-founder Alan Merriman remain on as chief executive
Pat McCann, the former chief executive and founder of the Dalata hotel group, has joined the investment house Elkstone as its chairman.
Speaking to the Business Post, McCann said he would be investing in Elkstone as part of the move, but that no agreement had been reached yet on how much he was to put into the business.
“We’re going through a fundraising process right now so it hasn’t been finalised,” he said.
