The American Embassy in Dublin is closing in on a deal to purchase the former Jury’s Hotel in Ballsbridge as it prepares to relocate embassy staff over the coming years, the Business Post can confirm.

This newspaper understands that officials in the American government are currently carrying out a number of inspections and checks at the site as the embassy finalises a deal with the site’s owner, Chartered Land.
