Office aims to have each renewal processed within 15 days
Holidaymakers are facing delays in getting their passports during the peak holiday season due to official targets being missed.
The Passport Office has a goal of getting almost every passport renewal application processed within 15 days.
New figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show the official targets are, however, being missed.
