The future for media is digital, isn’t it? And the future for media distribution is the internet? Frankly, they seem silly questions. Of course the media are only going one way: digital, using fibre optic cable. Even Sky which, as its name suggests, uses satellite distribution, is moving online. Its Now TV offering is essentially the satellite service over the internet. It’s the future, right?
